1. Introduction

This Logo Use Policy establishes guidelines for the usage of the 5th Echelon Media logo and brand marks. Our logos represent our brand identity and are protected intellectual property. This policy ensures consistent, professional use of our visual identity while protecting our trademark rights.

2. Permitted Uses

The 5th Echelon Media logo may be used without prior written permission in the following contexts:

  • Editorial and News: Reference to 5th Echelon Media content or attribution in news coverage
  • Partner and Affiliate Links: Display in partner directories, with proper attribution
  • Educational References: Academic or educational materials discussing our organization
  • Social Media Sharing: User-generated content sharing our videos or articles
  • Non-Commercial Parody or Criticism: Fair use commentary and critique
  • Official Merchandise: Licensed merchandise partnerships (pre-approved only)

3. Prohibited Uses

Use of the 5th Echelon Media logo is strictly prohibited in the following contexts without prior written consent:

  • Commercial products or services not affiliated with 5th Echelon Media
  • Misleading representations suggesting official sponsorship or partnership
  • Political campaigns, candidates, or political organizations
  • Hate speech, extremism, or illegal activities
  • Adult or sexually explicit content

4. Branding Guidelines

4.1 Logo Versions

The following official logo versions are available for approved use:

  • Primary Logo: Full horizontal logo with "5TH ECHELON" text and icon
  • Icon Only: Boxed numeral "5" icon for social media and favicons
  • Vertical Logo: Stacked version for narrow spaces
  • Monochrome Versions: Black, white, and grayscale alternatives

4.2 Color Specifications

Primary White: #FFFFFF (RGB: 255, 255, 255)

Primary Black: #000000 (RGB: 0, 0, 0)

Accent Red: #DC143C (RGB: 220, 20, 60)

Background: #0a0a0a (RGB: 10, 10, 10)

4.3 Minimum Size

  • Digital: 64 × 64 pixels
  • Print: 0.5 inches × 0.5 inches
  • Do not scale logo below these minimums as it may become illegible

4.4 Clear Space

Maintain a minimum clear space around the logo equal to the height of the "5" icon. No other elements should overlap or touch the logo.

5. Logo Modifications — What NOT to Do

Do not modify the logo in any of the following ways:

  • Stretch, compress, or distort the logo
  • Change colors without express written permission
  • Add effects (shadows, glows, 3D effects)
  • Rotate or flip the logo
  • Remove or alter any part of the logo
  • Combine with other logos to suggest partnership or affiliation
  • Place the logo over busy or low-contrast backgrounds
  • Use outdated or deprecated logo versions

Official logo files and brand assets are available in the following formats:

  • PNG (for web and digital use)
  • SVG (scalable vector for all sizes)
  • PDF (for print materials)
  • EPS (for professional design applications)

7. Commercial Partnerships and Licensing

Organizations interested in using the 5th Echelon Media logo for commercial purposes must obtain a written license agreement.

Licenses typically require: clear description of intended use, placement and context specifications, duration of use, exclusivity terms (if applicable), and quality control standards.

7.2 Merchandise and Products

Any merchandise or products featuring the 5th Echelon Media logo require: pre-approval of designs, trademark registration compliance, quality standards, and revenue sharing agreements (where applicable).

8. Trademark Rights and Protection

5th Echelon Media owns all intellectual property rights to its logos and brand marks. These rights are protected by trademark law in the United States and internationally.

Our marks are registered or in the process of registration with EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office).

10.3 Canada

Our trademarks are protected under the Trademarks Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. T-13) and registered with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO).
